Podcast #34
Rex Reginald of Hollywood claims to be the original author of what was made into the movie called “Party Crashers” (with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson). He crashed our podcast at a preview party and dished some dirt about his 75 million dollar lawsuit he has against the studio that produced the film. He claims to chill with some big name hollywood celebrities. Listen for yourself. Is he real or a wanna be? It’s hard for me to decide.

[…] The Cool as Hell Theatre Podcast talks with a man named “Rex Reginald” who claims to be the author of a book called The Party Crashers. Apparently, Mr. Reginald claims that the producers of the film The Wedding Crashers ripped off his book. But here’s the interesting thing: There’s no trace of any book authored by Rex Reginald at either the Library of Congress or ISBN. In fact, the only book named The Party Crashers is a novel written by Stephanie Bond. Reginald claims in Rice’s podcast that he’s involved in a major lawsuit against unidentified producers and studios, that he’s about to get paid big money to buy a mansion. Perhaps he might want to consider investing this cash in a publicist who might be able to plug his nonexistent book. […]

The above podcast is a disgusting sham (not the host, who did a fine job) rather the subject, who is a chronic filer of lawsuits, admittedly syphillitic, a man with an extensive criminal record, insane, and a pathological liar. He earns his living filing lawsuits…this is why, among other reasons, all our insurance rates go up. New Line Studios refused to be extorted and is fighting the good fight. So many would have caved in by now. Further, this disgusting “Party Crasher” is a racist and an incessant pathological liar. You could not find the book he “wrote” because there is no book. The 1st amendment guarantees your right to interview freaks like this, however, some due diligence before airing such garbage may be in order.
