I think it's sad that he's let his anger get the best of him. We all get our teeth kicked in, nature of the beast. You can't get into a headspace where you think you'll never get in regardless of what you do. Also it causes ulcers. If he were smart (or clear headed) he would direct all the energy he puts into the hate zine into organizing people in similar situations and putting together work or workshops themselves. If he's talented as he says he is, it should be all good. Like Steve Martin said: "The trick is to be so good that they can' ignore you." Good interview. But as for Mr. White… the sooner he stops publicly shooting himself in the foot and starts doing something proactive and positive about the state of the theatre community the sooner he will realize that nothing is free and everything comes at a price. If he had any talent he might get cast. But as anyone who attended the general auditions and saw his two minutes of theatrical torture can attest, he doesn’t. “We need… new forms. We... need... new... F O R M S!”. It is sad and pathetic that he chooses to talk shit about others but chooses not do do anything about himself like... take a fucking acting class! To anyone who has ever received a “cast me or else” (plea for help) e-mail from Mr. White this lame inarticulate rant should sound familiar.
